ATTENTION! Due to COVID-19 epidemic the Embassy of Slovenia in Cairo temporarily changed the business days of the Embassy and limited the operations of the Consular Department to the necessary and emergency cases involving Slovenian citizens only. For detailed information, see here.
Official hours of the Consular Department are on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am until 12:00 o'clock, as well as on Tuesdays from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. There are no official hours on Mondays and Wednesdays.
The Embassy is closed on Fridays and Saturdays. Additionally, in 2020 the Embassy will be closed for the following holidays: 19.04., 24.05., 25.06., 23.07., 30.07., 02.08. and 01.11.2020, and the Consular Department only will also be closed on 31.12.2020.

Slovenian outsourcing centers VFS Global in Egypt and in Kuwait stopped their service on 2 February 2020. In Egypt, applications for short stay visas for travel to Slovenia can be submitted directly at the Embassy during the official hours of the Consular Department. In Kuwait, Schengen visa applications for travel to Slovenia can be submitted to the Austrian Embassy in Kuwait City and/or the Austrian VFS Global outsourcing centre in Kuwait City.
